Appointments
All treatment is scheduled by appointment only.
Please call 1-(808)-947-8900to schedule an appointment. Dr. Yasuhara offers complimentary consultations.
If you are a patient of record and are having a dental emergency after hours, kindly call our office at 1-(808)-947-8900 to get the emergency contact information.
As a courtesy, Dr. Yasuhara’s office confirms appointments 2 business days in advance. Should you find you need to reschedule your appointment, please be sure to provide at least 48 hours notice to avoid a cancellation fee. If the vacated time can be filled, we will waive the charge.
To ensure all patients receive the full benefit of their treatments, we strive to start and end appointments on schedule. Please plan on arriving approximately 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to allow for parking, elevator, and updates to your personal/insurance information. If you are running late, we appreciate a phone call and will do our best to extend the same courtesy.
Please be sure to bring any new personal and / or insurance coverage information to your appointment.
Insurance and Billing
**We Accept Most Dental Insurance Plans**
We are participating providers for:
- HDS (Hawaii Dental Service)
- Delta Dental Service (All States)
- HMSA PPO Plans (Preferred Provider Plans)
As a courtesy, we will file all of your insurance claims if allowed by your insurance carrier. We will also accept “The Assignment of Benefits”. What this means to you is: You will only have to pay your estimated co-payment at the time of the visit, even if we are not a participating provider of your insurance carrier.
Our office will do everything possible to help you maximize the insurance benefits to which you are entitled.
In most cases, we can begin treatment prior to receiving an authorization from the dental insurance company. However, patients need to understand that in the event the dental insurance company refuses to pay any part or all of your treatment, you are responsible for all fees.
We do have great financial options for your out-of-pocket expenses. Please check the financial section of our web site.
